We stayed here for a long weekend for our honeymoon. Natalie helped us check in. We've never received such an incredibly sweet, warm, cordial, and hospitable welcome as at this hotel. Natalie took such good care of us; our trip couldn't have been better from the start. Even when we returned from the city, she would happily come over to check in on us and see how we were doing. The hotel rooms/suites are also fantastic. Beautiful high ceilings, lots of light, a gorgeous bathroom, and excellent amenities. Breakfast is served in a cozy, intimate space. The poached eggs on toast with yogurt are highly recommended. We will definitely be back to celebrate our one-year anniversary. We want to thank everyone who works at this hotel for a fantastic honeymoon, and Natalie is especially dear to our hearts. Thank you!

A beautiful and unique hotel. Perfectly located, it has a great pool and in-house restaurants, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the room I had was perfect- a very modern styled room with beautiful classical motifs. I ate at the restaurant on the first floor above reception and ordered a selection of small plates which hit the spot perfectly. Super flavourful and totally underrated. All of the food was fantastic but the burrata and cured meat plate with chimmichurri was particularly exquisite.

What a wonderful experience. We had a challenging group in town from the US for my daughter's wedding. Many extra services needed to be filled. The staff was fantastic. Thank you. Add that into a truly unique hotel. Close to the Tube. And every room has its own personality. But first and foremost, the staff! Thank you again.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Mars and Will's wedding at the Town Hall Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The venue itself is stunning - full of character, with a beautiful blend of art deco architecture and contemporary design. The natural light in the Council Chamber is a dream for photographers, and the variety of textures and tones throughout the building provided endless creative possibilities. Staff were discreet, helpful, and incredibly professional - making sure everything ran smoothly without ever being intrusive. From a photographic perspective, it's rare to find a venue that offers such elegance, flexibility, and atmosphere all in one place. Whether you're planning a wedding or looking for a location that feels both grand and intimate, Town Hall Hotel is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended.

Thinking of getting married at the Town Hall Hotel? Oh please Go. For. It! Such a beautiful space, great location and amazing light and backdrop for photos. We just shot a wedding at the Council Chamber room. Full house, lots of guests and everyone fitted perfectly. The stairs at the front of the building are great for confetti shoots, formals and Bride & Groom portraits. The staff was lovely and attentive during the day. Can't wait to get back next year. :)

I have read some poor reviews of this hotel and to be honest I can’t imagine why. Our room was huge, spotless clean. We had a very big kitchen with everything we needed and a nespresso machine. Yes, they asked us at check in if we want to be charged for housekeepers tip, we said we would leave cash and they did not charge us. The 100£ deposit came back into my account within 24h of checkout. Also the reception staff were very nice and helpful, our bathroom was leaking a little bit above the toilet and they had another room ready for us, but we loved our room and the leak was not an issue so we didn’t move. Yes, this is not located in central London, but in my opinion its perfectly located, Hackney is an amazing neighborhood and the Brodway Market is withing 15 minutes walking.

We have stayed at the Town Hall several times over the last 9 year and every time we leave we know we will be back. The staff are so incredibly helpful, the space grand with delightful touches of whimsy and the rooms equipped with everything you need (including sky high ceilings and gorgeous MCM furniture). The pool is always a huge hit with our family, it’s such a beautiful and well designed space. We absolutely love Elis - which consistently has served some of the best dishes we have enjoyed anywhere. Seriously we would come for just the Cassava chips. The neighbourhood has retained so much of its east london-ness but has wonderful cafes and restaurants nearby (try Rogue Sarnies and Sado Pizza across the street, right behind Devil’s Whiskers, one of the best cocktail bars in London) foe families there’s two wonderful playgrounds in Weavers’ Field and Pay a visit to the Tita’s coffee cart.
